On July 19, 2006, Gregory Haworth, aged 51, was tragically found shot to death along with his girlfriend, Lora Davis, inside their apartment at 515 Lowell Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio. The double homicide was discovered by the apartment manager approximately 12 hours after the killings. Both Gregory and Lora were found shot, and their deaths remain unsolved to this day.
Despite significant efforts by law enforcement, the case has not yielded any arrests.
Cincinnati Police believe it is possible that the victims knew their killer, but no suspects have been publicly identified. Gregory’s father, Rodney Haworth, expressed his fears that the person responsible for his son’s death may have continued to commit other violent acts. The police have continuously urged individuals who may have knowledge of the crime to come forward, and Cincinnati authorities have offered to provide protection for those willing to help but are concerned about their safety.
The Ohio Attorney General’s Office has featured Gregory and Lora’s case in their list of unsolved homicides, hoping that increased visibility will encourage someone to provide crucial information. The case is still open, and any tips from the public could be instrumental in bringing justice for Gregory and Lora, as well as offering their families some measure of closure after this tragic event.
