On October 24, 2017, 25-year-old Abdisalam Mohamud was shot and killed in Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place in the area of North Cassady Avenue and Agler Road at approximately 3:13 p.m. The initial information provided to law enforcement indicated that Mohamud was inside a vehicle that had crashed near this location. It was soon determined that Mohamud had been shot just prior to the crash, which occurred near Agler Road and Citygate.
