On July 19, 2017, 19-year-old Abdul Cadir Ali Yussef, a male of Somali descent, was tragically killed during a home invasion in Columbus, Ohio. Yussef was one of two men who lost their lives in the incident, which occurred at an apartment building on Wedgewood Drive in southwest Columbus. The other victim, 26-year-old Mohamed Ali Mohamed, succumbed to his injuries later that day at Mount Carmel West Hospital.
