On December 17, 2016, at approximately 1:42 a.m., Columbus Police officers were called to 1561 Duxberry Avenue on the report of a collapsed male inside the residence. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, later identified as 35yr old Darrin Mitchell, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. CFD Medic 18 responded to the scene and transported Mr. Mitchell to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.
