On August 31, 2017, Theodore Anthony Stokes Jr., a 20-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was killed in a double shooting that occurred at the corner of Traymore Place and Republic Avenue. On that day, at approximately 1:50 p.m., Columbus Police officers responded to a report of gunshots.
