On April 15, 2011, 21-year-old Haarun C. Phillips was shot and killed in Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place during a gathering, where an altercation escalated to violence. Columbus police responded to the scene, but Phillips was pronounced dead shortly after the shooting. Although there were numerous witnesses, securing clear information or cooperation has proven difficult, leaving the case unresolved.
