On October 12, 2011, Evan McCray, a 29-year-old man, was shot and killed in Cincinnati, Ohio. The incident occurred around 8:36 p.m. when a District Four police officer was flagged down at Jefferson Avenue by an individual who reported that the front seat passenger of his vehicle had been shot. Fire personnel responded to the scene, but Evan McCray had already succumbed to his injuries.
