Jordan Martin, a 17-year-old male, was tragically killed on July 17, 2017, in Columbus, Ohio. He became the 72nd homicide victim in Columbus that year, contributing to a period of rising violence in the city. On the evening of the incident, Columbus police officers were called to respond to reports of gunfire. Jordan was found with gunshot wounds, and despite efforts to provide medical assistance, he did not survive his injuries.
