Cody Virgil Nichols, age 22, was tragically killed on August 4, 2017, in Columbus, Ohio. At approximately 1:52 a.m., Columbus Police officers responded to reports of shots fired at 735 Doulton Court, located in the Wedgewood Village Apartments on the west side of the city. Upon arrival, they found Cody lying in the hallway near the front of the apartment building, suffering from a gunshot wound.
