On the night of August 25, 2014, Meshack Kinyanjui Mwangi, a 62-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was found with a gunshot wound on Greenwich Street in the North Linden neighborhood. Police responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 11:51 p.m. Mwangi was discovered in front of 3526 Greenwich Street and was quickly transported to the Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University.
