On the night of August 25, 2014, Meshack Kinyanjui Mwangi, a 62-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was found with a gunshot wound on Greenwich Street in the North Linden neighborhood. Police responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 11:51 p.m. Mwangi was discovered in front of 3526 Greenwich Street and was quickly transported to the Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead shortly after midnight, at around 12:56 a.m. on August 26, 2014.
