Jamar Michael Phillips, a 17-year-old male, was killed during a violent confrontation along East Oglethorpe Boulevard in Albany, Georgia, during the early morning hours of August 27, 2026. Albany police were dispatched to the area at about 2:45 a.m. after reports of gunfire.
