On March 24, 2008, Cherilyn Jane Crawford was one of four individuals found dead in an apartment located at 720 High Meadow Lane, Tree Top Apartments in Charlotte, North Carolina. The other victims were Andrew Babyak, William Beaumonde Royster, and Timothy Stone.
