Jatangela Bree Hudson, a 29-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on October 1, 2021, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in an apartment on Waterford Glen Loop in south Charlotte. According to reports, Jatangela was shot and killed around 4 p.m. on that fateful day. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call and found Jatangela with an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
