In the quiet neighborhood of San Carlos in San Diego, a tragedy unfolded that left a family shattered and a community in mourning. On September 16, 2026, 54-year-old Amy Lee Austin was found dead in her home alongside her 13-year-old daughter, Mya Voight, and her husband, 56-year-old David Voight. All three had suffered fatal gunshot wounds in what investigators believe was a murder-suicide. A weapon was recovered at the scene.
