On September 6, 1986, a farmer in a cornfield off a dirt road near Lebanon, Illinois, made a grim discovery. The nude body of a young woman was found, having been brutally murdered. For years, her identity would remain a mystery, and she would be known only as the "Summerfield Jane Doe."
