Faith Davis, a 17-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on July 23, 1993, in East St. Louis, Illinois. Her death was part of a series of heinous crimes committed by Lorenzo Fayne, a convicted serial killer. Fayne, who was later linked to the murders of five children and teenagers in the region, confessed to the killing of Faith Davis. The circumstances surrounding her death were particularly harrowing.
