Anireeyah Brue, an 18-year-old woman, was fatally shot late Friday night, August 14, 2026, in Baker, Louisiana. According to Baker Police, officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 11:45 p.m. in the 6300 block of East Myrtle Street. When officers arrived, they found Brue suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency personnel transported her to a local hospital, but she died from her injuries. The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Office later confirmed her identity and reported that coroner ...
