On the warm evening of August 22, 2026, the community of Selma, Alabama, was tragically marked by violence that resulted in the death of 19-year-old Jermaine Oliver. Officers from the Selma Police Department were dispatched to the scene at the intersection of Martin Luther King Street and the J.L.
