On the evening of Saturday, February 28, 2026, a road rage incident in rural Edinburg, Texas, escalated into a tragic burst of violence that claimed the life of 36-year-old Eliazar Gabriel Martinez and three others. The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office reported that the initial confrontation between neighbors devolved into a shooting in the 10500 block of Highway 107.
