On a summer evening in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the life of 39-year-old Clinton Leroy Thornton Hill was tragically cut short. On July 17, 2026, in a home on the 300 block of North Hyde Park Avenue, Hill was fatally shot. Emergency services were called to the scene, and he was quickly transported to Geisinger Community Medical Center. Despite the efforts of medical staff, he succumbed to a single gunshot wound to the abdomen and was pronounced dead at the hospital around 8:30 p.m.
