William "Billy" Maurer, a 54-year-old man, was fatally shot on the morning of June 28, 2026, inside a home in the 3000 block of Spruce Avenue in the Glenside section of Abington Township, Pennsylvania. At approximately 11:00 a.m., Abington Township police officers were dispatched to the residence after a 911 caller reported that a shooting had occurred.

When officers entered the home, they found Maurer dead from a gunshot wound. His 28-year-old nephew, Brandon Maurer, was also discovered ...
