Robert Earl Ford III, a 34-year-old man from Wilkinsburg, was fatally shot inside an apartment on East Hills Drive in Pittsburgh's East Hills neighborhood early on May 18, 2017. The incident occurred around 3 a.m., and when paramedics arrived, Ford was pronounced dead at the scene. The police were called to the scene by a woman who discovered Ford inside the apartment building. He had been shot at least once in the stomach.
