On August 22, 2016, Paris Wheatley, a 31-year-old resident of Braddock, Pennsylvania, was fatally shot in Pittsburgh. According to reports, Wheatley was in a vehicle with two women when they picked up another man. During this time, Wheatley sustained a gunshot wound. The two women drove him to UPMC Shadyside Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 11:30 p.m.
