Paris A. Wheatley, a 31-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on the night of Monday, August 22, 2016, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The incident that led to his death began when two women, who were in a vehicle with Wheatley, stopped to pick up another man in the Homewood neighborhood. At some point after this unidentified man entered the vehicle, Wheatley was shot.
