In the pre-dawn hours of the Fourth of July, 2026, the life of Rashad Lamar Lumpkin, a 36-year-old man from Atlanta, was tragically cut short on a street in Vidalia, Georgia. At approximately 3:13 a.m., the Vidalia Police Department received a call reporting shots fired in the 500 block of East Jenkins Street.
