On April 13, 2024, a homicide occurred in Vidalia, Georgia, resulting in the death of 28-year-old Quashaun Lamarious Chillious. The incident took place in the 500 block of East Jenkins Street, where officers from the Vidalia Police Department were dispatched around 11 p.m. in response to reports of shots being fired.
