The fatal incident unfolded around 2:45 a.m. in the 4400 block of Amnicola Highway, a typically busy commercial area near a 7-Eleven and an Amazon Delivery Station. When Chattanooga police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Daniel with fatal gunshot wounds.
It was later revealed that two other 18-year-olds, a male and a female, had also sustained gunshot wounds in the same incident and had been taken to local hospitals.
