On a summer afternoon in Huntington, West Virginia, the life of 33-year-old Jackie Sebastian Harper was tragically cut short. On July 7, 2026, Harper was fatally shot in the 2400 block of 9th Avenue. The incident, which was reported just after 1 p.m., prompted an immediate investigation by the Huntington Police Department. When officers arrived at the scene near the intersection of 9th Avenue and 24th Street, they discovered Harper, a resident of South Charleston, deceased from a gunshot wound. ...
