Michael Christian, a 60-year-old White/Caucasian male, was shot to death on the morning of August 19, 2025, outside his residence in Huntington, West Virginia. Police were called around 9:45 a.m. to the 500 block of Sixth Avenue, where they found Christian with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene. Reports later specified the location as near 537 Sixth Avenue, and investigators immediately treated the case as a homicide.
