In the summer of 2026, the life of Marquis S. Mitchell, a 30-year-old man, was tragically cut short on the streets of Chicago. On the late evening of Friday, July 10th, police responded to a call in the Roseland neighborhood on the city's Far South Side. There, in the 0-100 block of West 112th Place, they discovered Mr. Mitchell unresponsive. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
