On the evening of June 3, 2016, Daniel Alcantana, a 20-year-old Hispanic male, was gunned down in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood.
Police said the shooting unfolded at 6:49 p.m. in the 2900 block of West Armitage Avenue, where gunfire tore through a small cellphone shop and into the early Friday bustle.
Daniel Alcantana, age 20, was struck multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene minutes later at 6:59 p.m., according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner.
