Dwayne L. Thomas, a 20-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on August 19, 2015, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side. According to reports, Thomas was on the front porch of a home in the 7400 block of South Harvard when he was approached by Devonte Watson and Willie Wheeler.
