Octavius Mitchell

Octavius Mitchell, a 38-year-old man from West Englewood, Chicago, was fatally shot on April 4, 2021, while driving in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side. Around 2:15 p.m., Mitchell was stopped in the middle of the street in the 11500 block of South LaSalle Street when a man approached his vehicle. After a brief conversation, the man fired shots, striking Mitchell in the neck. Mitchell was pronounced dead at the scene.
