On the evening of May 29, 2026, the life of 43-year-old Daniel Dale Flores was tragically cut short in the parking lot of the 16th and Pile Church of Christ in Clovis, New Mexico. Responding to a report of a man lying in the parking lot, Clovis police officers discovered Flores unconscious with a fatal gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
