On July 9, 2023, Anibal Salguero, a 31-year-old roofer, was fatally shot in Clovis, New Mexico. The incident occurred in the 900 block of West Ninth Street after Salguero had finished a roofing job in the area. He was in a vehicle with another worker, listening to music, when the attack took place.
