Nathan Lynch, a 45-year-old man, was killed late on Friday night, June 12, 2026, in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas, after police say a confrontation on Carl Drive ended in gunfire. Officers with the Hot Springs Police Department were called to the area at about 11:48 p.m. for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found Lynch on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
