In the early hours of Wednesday, May 6, 2026, the quiet of a Waterbury, Connecticut neighborhood was broken by the sound of a single gunshot. Responding to reports of shots fired just before 3:15 a.m., police arrived on Easton Avenue to a grim discovery. Inside a blue Hyundai, they found the body of 20-year-old Daniel Peart.
