On the evening of May 9, 2026, the life of 30-year-old Chaleyl Alexander was tragically cut short in Jackson, Mississippi. Officers from the Jackson Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 3500 block of Sunset Drive at approximately 6:27 p.m. following a report of an aggravated assault.
