A young father is shot and killed at a road barricade while on his way to work
On a rural road in the town of Manheim, near Little Falls, New York, the life of 37-year-old Charles Stahl was brought to an abrupt and violent end on November 8, 1977. A husband and father, Stahl was driving his Ford Bronco along Snells Bush Road when he encountered a makeshift roadblock of branches and debris intentionally placed in his path. It was here that he was fatally shot while still inside his vehicle.
