On a late spring morning in Pueblo, Colorado, the community was shaken by a violent act that ended the life of 45-year-old Fernando W. Vigil III. The incident, which marked the city's seventh homicide of 2026, unfolded on May 16, 2026, at a Shell gas station located at 1812 W. US Highway 50.
