In the early morning hours of March 26, 2026, the life of 35-year-old Alisha Shanell Lewis, a Black / African American female, was tragically cut short in her Charlotte, North Carolina apartment. Responding to a call just before 9:30 a.m., officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department arrived at the 3100 block of High Glen Drive, off West W.T. Harris Boulevard, to find a grim scene. Lewis had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
