On September 2, 2023, at approximately 6:00 a.m., 64-year-old Dianne Sturdivant Davis was fatally shot while leaving a residence on Orchard Trace Lane in north Charlotte, North Carolina. Witnesses reported that two men confronted Davis, leading to an argument that tragically escalated when she was shot. The assailants then stole her 2019 silver Nissan Rogue and fled the scene.
