Andrew Ladeartis Jackson, a 39-year-old Black man from Memphis, Tennessee, died after a shooting on March 29, 2026. The case began just after midnight when officers were called to Methodist University Hospital for a shooting victim. Jackson had arrived there in a 2018 black Infiniti with a gunshot wound to the torso, and despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
