In Memphis, Tennessee, on March 25, 2017, a dispute between two men escalated into a fatal confrontation. Artis Mitchell, a 62-year-old Black male, was involved in a heated argument with another man, James Sumlin. The disagreement tragically turned violent, resulting in both men shooting each other.

Emergency services were called to the scene on West Peebles Road, where they found both Mitchell and Sumlin suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite any medical intervention, both men succumbed ...
