Kevonte Hayes, a 22-year-old male, tragically lost his life on March 11, 2021, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was shot to death outside a Raleigh grocery store, Save-a-Lot, in the 3400 block of Austin Peay. Hayes had gone to the store to purchase canned goods and was leaving the store when several men opened fire on him. Police evidence markers suggested that at least 40 shots were fired.
