DeAngelo Watkins, a 28-year-old African American man from Memphis, TN, was tragically shot and killed on May 30, 2013, while washing his car at a carwash. The incident occurred in broad daylight, and police have not identified any suspects or motives at this time. Watkins was a forklift driver and had an 8-year-old son. His sister, LaCasha Watkins, expressed her grief and disbelief over the senseless loss of her brother.
