Andre Smith, a 35-year-old male from Montgomery, Alabama, was killed in the early hours of Saturday, April 11, 2026, during a violent stretch that left the city shaken by multiple shootings over roughly two days. His death happened at about 2:23 a.m. in the 900 block of Grove Street, where Montgomery police said he was fatally shot. When officers arrived, Smith was found dead at the scene.
