Marley Day, a 22-year-old man from Colorado Springs, Colorado, died after a late-night shooting on April 17, 2026, in a neighborhood near the Patty Jewett area. Police were called to a disturbance in the 1500 block of East Buena Ventura Street, near Uintah Street and North Union Boulevard, after receiving information that someone had been shot. When officers arrived, they found Day suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his torso.
