Excell Cooley, a 23-year-old from Buffalo, New York, was tragically killed on March 25, 2007, in a still-unsolved homicide. Cooley was fatally shot in the head while sitting in the backseat of a vehicle in Buffalo’s East Side neighborhood, specifically at 23 Southampton Street, around 4 a.m. that morning. Despite the passage of many years, the case has not seen significant breakthroughs, leaving Cooley’s family and the community still searching for justice.
