In the early evening of April 27, 2026, tragedy struck in a North Little Rock, Arkansas, community. Charles Dolphus, a 32-year-old man, was fatally shot in an act of violence that cut his life short. The incident unfolded around 6:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of West 20th Street, in the vicinity of Frank M. Witkowski Park.
