In the late hours of a Friday night in Portland, Oregon, the life of a hardworking 57-year-old man, Ernesto Castellanos, was tragically cut short. On March 27, 2026, Castellanos was working his shift as a clerk at a Plaid Pantry in the Cully Neighborhood when a man entered the store.
